Almond Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 Bananas mashed
  • 1 cup Vegan margarine
  • 1 cup Whole Cane Sugar or Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 2 3/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 8.8 ounces 200g Dark Chocolate (chopped or Chocolate Chips)
  • 1 cup slivered Almonds

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375F (190C) and line a cookie sheet with baking paper.
  2. Cream together bananas, margarine, sugar, vanilla, and maple syrup.
  3. In a different mixing bowl, mix together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Add banana mixture to mixing bowl containing dry ingredients. Carefully mix together with a wooden spoon and add chocolate and almonds. Be careful not to overdo it.
  5. Drop cookie dough (tablespoon size) on cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
